  • Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or other role requiring analytical problem-solving and communicating recommendations to executive management

The Commerce Global Industry Partnerships Solutions team works across Google to bring industry-focused solutions to our retail and travel partners. Our team possesses an understanding of Google Business, Product goals and capabilities, and how the industry can benefit most from these products. We develop insights and thought-leadership, advise leaders on strategy, drive operational efficiencies, build industry narratives, and support product commercialization.

As a Global Industry Partnerships Solutions Lead, you will have the opportunity to shape a cross-Google roadmap on business strategy across products, enable exceptional operational support for our partnerships teams around the world, and help architect and drive key programs that deliver value for Google and its partners.

We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across Google on the development of Google’s Travel Strategy to bring helpful solutions to our users and partners in the Travel industry. 
  • Identify and vet Travel solutions, bringing together the best of Google’s products and services.
  • Manage qualitative and analytical projects simultaneously while collaborating with cross-Google Partner Managers, Product Areas leads (e.g., Travel, Google Cloud, Google Ads, etc), Sales, Business Development, and Finance teams to enable a coordinated approach to making business agreements.
  • Drive cross-Google alignment to build and communicate narratives around Google’s solutions for Travel and understand project dependencies and remove barriers through clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Understand Travel opportunities and risks associated with Google’s engagement with the industry and foster collaboration between leaders and teams to inform and influence decision-making on strategic initiatives and solutions.
