Global Communications Manager

Set the external communications strategy, PR and social media, for select Amadeus business units, tech and corporate themes, working closely with senior managemnt

Managing the external PR agency globally.

Create communication strategies for new market entries and strategic business developments and supporting new product launches.

Messaging development for various business lines across.

Ensure external messages are aligned with business objectives.

Support spokespeople, ensuring consistent messages are prepared and delivered. Assist in the creation of external communication materials for spokespeople.

Develop a calendar of corporate content such as white papers, event content and other relevant materials to establish and maintain Amadeus as an acknowledged thought leader in the travel and technology space across business lines.

Develop and maintain Amadeus relationships with key media on trade, business and industry titles - ensuring timely and relevant flow of information to secure proportionate representation of Amadeus’ share of voice in key titles.

Identify key targets and generate story lines and information to maintain a dialogue with key media titles.

Core Responsibilities:

• Be the point of contact for any technology communications across all regions
• Build, cultivate and own strategic relationships with journalists and broadcasters for Amadeus, in order to communicate the Amadeus story and manage risks
• Define communications strategy and materials for technology and business lines
• Ensure corporate external messages are aligned with business objectives
• Messaging development for corporate issues and support corporate units
• Support spokespeople in global events, ensuring consistent messages are prepared and delivered to different markets.
• Assist in the creation of external communication materials for spokespeople
• Develop and implement communicaitons plan accross traditional and digital channels to establish and maintain Amadeus as an acknowledged thought leader in the travel and technology
