What the role is 

The Sales Director is responsible for creating and leading the B2B Sales strategy for Selina, supporting all B2B Sales teams to achieve global sales targets and best profit from this revenue stream.

What you will be doing

  • Create, manage, and execute global sales action plan and forecast for the given market
  • Manage, retain, and grow established global customers (transient and groups)
  • Prospect new clients e.g., Tour Operators, Corporates, DMCs, Travel Agencies, M&E Agencies etc.
  • Support new property openings around the world
  • Achieve revenue goals for all revenue streams Corporate and Leisure (transient, groups etc.)
  • Responsibility for all sales activities in the given market and synergies with global locations.
  • Work closely with local sales teams to ensure cohesion and coordination in the sales activities
  • Oversee the customer experience for fam trips, and educational visits for customers
  • Provide sales performance reports to the leadership on tracking progress against targets, successes, and challenges
  • Ensure proper use of CRM

What you need for the role

  • Degree in Sales /Business Administration
  • Hospitality Market knowledge and established network
  • Hotel forecasting, budgeting &revenue management understanding
  • English proficiency (other European languages a plus)
  • Minimum 5 years in sales management
  • Time management, creativity and cultural sensitivity skills
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Revenue and Profit Oriented
  • Ability to work independently and creatively to close new sales opportunities
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a matrix environment
  • Intermediate/advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills
