The Expedia Group (EG) Retail Partnerships team is looking for a dynamic individual to join our EMEA team! As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will make a direct impact on EG’s P&L by developing and leading a Strategically important French and Spanish portfolio partners across various segments in Affiliate marketing world (Cashback, Deals and more). You will evaluate and navigate existing partner activities to increase bookings to our websites via our partners marketing channels. You will work across EG’s core brands under an international team that focuses on innovation, creative problem-solving and teamwork. Ready to achieve success with our partners? Build long-term strategic commercial relationships, formalized in enduring contractual agreements
Lead the commercial negotiation process to improve existing partnerships through various growth opportunities
Create marketing strategies, resources, and campaigns with our partners
Contribute marketing messaging to help customize online promotion efforts or even develop, design, and implement marketing activities directly on behalf of partners.
Design and implement measurements to analyse program effectiveness and quantify revenue generated from executed channel programs.
Partner with technology teams to improve partner performance through optimization and new feature implementation
Evangelize and champion product distribution objectives.
BA/BS degree or equivalent related professional experience
Fluency in English & French
Proven experience in partner marketing, sales, or account management with a preference from an agency, airline, travel technology or travel background
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to transform and consolidate sophisticated data or ideas to facilitate a commercial discussion/decision or build partnership proposals
Strong technical and analytical skills, comfortable using multiple interfaces to capture and manipulate data - numerically driven
Ability to run quickly with little supervision and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly evolving and collaborative environment
Strong customer focus and relationship building skills
Independent and comfortable making decisions
Knowledge and experience of EMEA travel market preferred but not essential
Experience in leading sophisticated processes including technical launches
