Are you passionate about travel? Do you want to drive impactful initiatives in the marketing space? We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Metasearch Strategy & BI team!

As part of the Growth Marketing organization, Metasearch is a dynamic and competitive auction-based performance channel, acquiring traffic from price comparison websites such as Google Hotel Ads, Trivago and TripAdvisor.

The successful candidate will be shaping Metasearch strategy, defining and tracking our operational goals, and driving cross-functional initiatives. This is a highly visible role and will work closely with leadership, campaign management, product, and the broader marketing team.

This role can be based out of our Seattle, Austin, or London office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build the long-term vision and strategy of Metasearch, supporting the yearly strategic planning process
  • Identify operational opportunities to support Expedia Group priorities
  • Define and track quarterly KPIs to evaluate the health of our business
  • Oversee cross-functional strategic initiatives and represent Metasearch in broader marketing forums
  • Work alongside the product and data science teams on initiatives to improve our competitiveness in the auction
  • Collaborate with the marketing strategy community to ensure alignment
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for program management, as well as preparation of executive-level presentations

Knowledge, Skills & Ability Required:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or related field
  • 6+ years’ experience in a fast-paced commercial environment; consulting or digital marketing a plus
  • Proven experience in project and/or program management, able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and matrixed team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of achieving consensus across functional areas and all levels of management
  • Excellent analytical skills, confident analyzing large data sets to spot opportunities and influence decision-making
  • Respond effectively to complex and ambiguous problems and situations
  • Self-starter, proactive, and willing to push boundaries
  • Knowledge, passion and experience of travel industry is a plus!
